Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. 「This was an astounding property! It is beautiful, occupying the grounds of a closed Jesuit seminary. The gardens, water features and art works were all so well done. It is five star all the way. 「A beautiful and historic property that is unique and special in every way. The staff were delightful, friendly, helpful and generous. The furnishings exquisite and well maintained. There was a clean atmosphere that was a surprise given the age of the hotel, and it’s in a city that has lots of humidity where you normally would find a moldy smell there was none! Much appreciated for someone who has allergies. I wish I didn’t have such a late check-in because I wasn’t able to appreciate all that...

「We were traveling with a small dog (six pounds) and selected the hotel based on pet friendliness. All the staff who met our dog were kind and happy to see her. The staff, in general were really very helpful and went out of their way to make the three of us welcome and comfortable. The property is well located.
