Checked in the first night and room given was not cleaned. Was left dirty from previous resident. Was offered a minor upgrade though

Novotel Köln City
Lovely clean comfy room. Easy 30 min walk along the river to the hotel from central station. I slept so well, I didn't have time to have the included breakfast. Staff on reception at check in very welcoming and I was able to check in a little early which was great.

I felt bad to stay there , because since we were there they don’t prepare any towels and i send them actually a message that i need a towel but since they just said that they don’t have any personal at Hotel, and for the towels i can take first in the next day at 11:00 am- 15:00 ...
