Had to change rooms because they have faulty wiring going to the outside lights, we could hear the circuit breaker popping every 15 secs. I reported it to the front desk, they did not seem to care that the building could have burnt down. They told us for the inconvenience they would switch rooms and give me a discount. No discount was given. Said the next morning they shut down that building. I reported them to the city of Birch Run, Mi.

Pictures are not representative of what the actual rooms look like. Rooms are outdated and unappealing. The actual rooms were unwelcoming and made my skin crawl. When the door shuts you can see daylight through it and gave me the impression that the area and room was unsafe. I could not in good conscience, keep my children in this situation. I checked right back out of the room after spending less than 5 minutes in it. The front desk worker was very sympathetic and left a note for the manager. I will be demanding a refund. No one should pay money to stay in a room like these ones. The walls and ceiling were covered in dirt that was haphazardly smeared around. The worst part is the best western that manages the property has cheaper rates and rooms that don’t remind you of a slum property.

First, for whatever reason, the check-in counter for both Best Western and Days Inn is in the front building. This is only on the side door of the front building but not listed anywhere on the big navigation signs on the Days Inn buildings. Dogs are allowed to stay, but bring your own bags and good luck finding trash [seems to be a theme because there was a lot of left behind treasures in the side yard]. The chair at the desk looks like it came from a secondhand store. It leaned in ways it shouldn't have and wasn't safe for the larger of us. The toilet was very low to the ground and would flush human waste but struggled with toilet paper. We didn't even bother to test the shower. There were stains on the "clean" pillow case. I will definitely not stay at a Days Inn again.

I do not recommend this place they did shovel the dnow or plow side wallks both my wife snd i slipped and luckly didnt fall. The first room smelt of smoke, poor lighting in the rooom, hot water went out at one point and just basic sheets kn thr bed we were turning hest on and off all night long, and the pillows weree absolutely terrrible the kind of pillows you find in your grandmas house sitting for 40 years

The price was too much for the accommodations. I had to upgrade from the room with the queen bed because the bed looked like a full not a queen. It was a thin mattress. The room smelled like smoke. The linens are all thin and cheap. There’s no comforter on the beds. It was very cold and it took a long time for the room to warm up. We paid 82 for the King size bed and it was a better mattress but a smaller tv. The linens were the same though. I would not stay at another Days Inn again.

It was difficult to find this property as it sits behind the Best Western. All the signage, even the front desk and throughout the lobby say Best Western nothing was posted with the Days Inn brand. Our room was clean and smelled ok. Linens were fresh. It was just a single night stay to visit Frankenmuth. The staff was professional and the shining stars of our stay.

For the price I was expecting a little better of a room. It wasn't horrible, but could definitely of used a good cleaning. It looked like no one had stayed in the room since summer. There also is not enough signage stating to chexk in at the Best Western that is in front of the property.

If you want a room smelling pot and cigarette smoke, see thru bed linens,no desk chair,and bed tables,stairs with spider webs, and bird poop,tv remote not working.Then you want to stay here. Staff helped correct the problems, but it should not have been any problems. Breakfast was good. Staff was okay. They gave me an upgraded room. Which was a king size bed and no pot and cigarette smoke.The heater had one speed. So nice of them

Nice for the price
It was just OK, nothing wrong for the price. Having to go outside to get to the pool area, not happening. The breakfast was nice, but the coffee machine with all the options was fantastic.

There was no signage indicating where to go to checkin to this combined motel. The room is fairly stark. TV SERVICE Is a joke. It isn’t a service cuz it doesn’t offer anything. We wanted to just relax and end end our day with a tv movie, but there weren’t any. Not even a comfy chair to read in. The bed is very uncomfortable. The price was robbery. $200. for an uncomfortable night. Won’t ever be back.

This hotel needs a massive renovation. It is very old and not up to the standards of other Days Inn that I’ve stayed at in the past.

Had a great stay. Slept so well! My room was in an older part of the Inn it has been updated but paint in the bathroom wasn't completed or they got the wrong color. For me that's not a big deal I just need a spot to sleep. The room was clean and smelled good. The only thing I would suggest is a area rug the floor is a little cold at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

I don’t usually leave a review on a hotel however this one was not worth the price we paid of $169 maybe more like $50. The staff was nice but that was the only thing decent about this hotel. I will say they have tried making improvements to it as it is an older hotel and could be nicer if it was just clean. The room smelled stale maybe no one has stayed in that room in awhile. Floor was dirty and we found 3 small blood spots about the size of a dime in front of the sink. Mattress is firm and the pillows were not comfortable at all. In the bathroom the toilet had a black ring around where the water was like it also hadn’t been used in quite some time, the shower had more water come out of the nozzle then the shower head and where the vent fan is it had no cover and you could see right up thru it and it was full of cobwebs. The ceiling in the room had holes in it. It’s in a nice location it just needs a good cleaning and not worth the price you pay for it if we coulda gotten our money back we woulda just left and went elsewhere.

Dirty and unsettling. The room had a used floss stick on the floor when we walked in and also dirt and webs in the corners and on the ground. Hardly any pillows, asked for more and front desk said they didn’t have anymore. Bed horrible. If I paid $90 I would expect this but for the price of over $200 I was very put off. Only decent thing was surprisingly the breakfast, bit variety of hot and cold and tasted good. Also the amount of parking but I assume that is because people don’t want to stay here.

The entry door had the number written in marker. The bathroom door had holes in it. The bathroom trim had the markings where the measurements were. Didn't even paint over it. The entry door had a gap. The ice machine didn't work.

The first room did not have a shower curtain we did not notice until morning since we were tired from our travel. My wife took a bath, and the tub was dirty, I did not.They moved us the next afternoon and said the room was inspected. The next morning, I went to take a shower and the diverter did not work. They did not have parts, so they moved us to another room. All three rooms smelled like smoke cigarette buts on walkway outside rooms. NASTY

Room not cleaned on our second day. Limited towels in room. Hairdryer didn’t work and when I asked for a replacement, they assured me that one would be sent. It never came! Had to go and ask for towels. Very thin walls, could hear conversations in rooms next door. Overall, rooms very outdated, staff not helpful. Cleaning staff poor quality. Wouldn’t stay here again.
