Beautiful old, renovated hotel. Some staff very attentive to requests and needs…. Others ignored requests all together . Example : the safe in the room was locked on arrival. I texted to see if it could be opened - the return message was, thanks for letting us know. I went in person twice, even spoke to I believe an evening manager… he said maintenance had left at 4 and would on it at 8 am. Three days later, still no help . Sad 😔

The hotel is gorgeous and extremely clean. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Communication through the front desk could use some improvement though. Spent the entire afternoon waiting for our room to be ready (a call that never came) only to find out at 5:30 that it had been ready for hours...

The White House was highly recommended from friends but our stay was far from a good experience. To start with, our room on the first floor (107) had a very pungent odor that was attempted to be covered up with glade plug-ins. The odor was a mixture of moldew/mold and a very strong fragrance. It made breathing very difficult and within minutes our throats were irritated and muly wifes felt as though it were closing. We immediately found the plug-in unplugged it and turned on the bathroom vent. We immediately went to the front desk and expressed our concerns with the room. The staff was understanding but unfortunately the hotel was full and there no other rooms available. We asked if there was an air purifier on site in which they responded that there was so we asked if they could put the air purifier in our room while we went to dinner. Upon Our return we enter the room and realize that nothing had been done so we went to the front desk to ask what happened and there was no clear answer as to why it was not done but they told us we could sit in the lobby and wait about 15 to 20 minutes for it to be completed. We also asked that once it was completed that they do not put another plug-in in the room. We walked over to the bar to have a drink while we waited and the bartender immediately said in a rude voice "we're closed", so we sat on one of the couches in the lobby. After 30 minutes and nobody letting us know our room was ready, (see google review for the rest of the story)

As a first-time guest at the White House Hotel, I found the property itself to be very nice. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a pleasant place to stay. The location and overall appearance of the hotel definitely make a good first impression. However, my experience at check-in could have been better. The desk clerk was polite but not very welcoming or informative. As a first-time guest, I expected a brief overview of the hotel’s amenities, such as the restaurant, bar hours, or other features available to guests. Unfortunately, none of this information was offered during the check-in process. Overall, the hotel itself is a great place to stay, but providing a more informative and welcoming check-in experience would really help enhance the overall guest experience, especially for first-time visitors.

I loved everything about this place. It has a very lux atmosphere, but yet laid back and comfortable. I loved my room, the whole hotel smells amazing, and the bed was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again!

My room was in the 2nd building and not the original main hotel. I expected better for a premium king room. The water pressure was horrible. I could have taken a better shower using a garden hose. There was not a mini fridge present in the room. For the price, there are better choices available especially if you don't mind a casino hotel. I actually decided to check out early and cut a day off my trip. Pros: Room was clean and smelled of new carpet and paint. I

I’ve stayed here more than a couple of times and it’s always nice. The staff is always awesome-especially at the bar. I wish there was a way to alert guests when there’s a wedding. I just happen to be there during weddings on two separate trips and couldn’t find parking. As a guest, I would love to not have to park in the tall grass across the street.
