Dan's Koyao Retreat

Ko Yao

10/10 Excellent

We were looking for the perfect tropical island, a paradise with few tourists and village-life. We finally found what we were looking for in Koh Yao Noi. The locals of Koh Yao Noi were some of the friendliest we had come across in Thailand. For a country that’s full of welcoming, warm people, that’s really saying something. Then it was Dan’s Koyao Retreat and the great host. Sin and the ladies took such a great care of us. It felt like we were staying in a home. Luckily we were alone during our...

Purana Resort Koh Yao Noi

Ko Yao

10/10 Excellent

Purana is a wonderful place to stay for a private holiday. Our transportation was very complex. We were arriving after the ferry to the island stopped running. They arranged private transportation for us. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the boat. Seamless! When we arrived they acted like they were waiting just for us. They sat us down with the best welcome drink and were so incredibly friendly. Our villa was #8 which is up a steep hill, but they always took us by...

Banyan Tree Krabi

Nong Thale

10/10 Excellent

The property was very pretty. It offers a tranquil atmosphere and great service. Food was top notch. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen at a resort. We went on the private boat tour and it was a highlight of our trip. I have stayed at Las Ventanas in Cabo and the Rosewood in Mayakoba and can say that I prefer the Banyan tree. Great for adults or families. I had a partial view room and it was great. I would recommend this property to travelers seeking a luxury experience and...

Cape Kudu Hotel

Ko Yao

10/10 Excellent

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Thailand! They were amazingly accommodating and the space was so nice. It's a wonderful little haven and so relaxing! Plus they had so many wonderful activities you can do. We stayed for 2 nights and did a phang nga bay tour during the day. It's also just up the road from The Green Coffee Shop which will give you some of the best prices on the island for booking bay/island tours.

Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Nong Thale

10/10 Excellent

We chose phulay bay as last stop of our honeymoon, after three weeks of being traveling around Thailand, vietnam and Cambodia this was the best decision to relax and have last amazing experience in this beautiful country. We arrived later than expected and so tired after a long day, but since the doors of the reception were openned and we saw those thousands of candels and the beautiful Thai reception, our mood changed to relax mode. The warmest welcome that we ever had, with a refreshing...

Laguna Villas Boutique Hotel

Ko Yao

10/10 Excellent

The hotel has an ideal location steps away from a small but uncluttered beach. The staff and the owner / Dimitry really try hard to make your staff comfortable. Really like the set up of the villas around the pool but at the same time you don't feel like you are on top of the pool or next to your neighbor. Overall, would recommend and would stay again. You can get a "taxi" at one of two ports for 100THB per person. One port is on the Eastern side of the island north of the hotel and the...

Koyao Bay Pavilions

Ko Yao

10/10 Excellent

We had a wonderful stay at the Koyao Bay Pavilions. James and his team gave us a wonderful welcome and tour of the site and got us pointed to some local spots for food and scooter rental that all worked out great. If anything, we wish we would’ve stayed longer at the Pavilions as it was so nice and secluded from the rest of the normal tourist spots in Phuket and Krabi. If you’re looking to unplug, relax and get away from things this is the perfect spot!

The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort

Nong Thale

10/10 Excellent

The experience at this hotel was unbelievable. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. We had a beach pool villa and I can't even express how beautiful it was. When we arrived the tub in the restroom was prepared with flower petals floating in the water. The views from this hotel were gorgeous! and it was so nice to have the beach just for the hotels is the area. Not crowded at all. We took a couple of trips to see other islands nearby and it was great! The food was also really...

Paradise KohYao

Ko Yao

10/10 Excellent

Favorite resort we stayed in during our 3 week honeymoon . It shares a beach with the tree house that you have likely seen on social media but much more reasonable prices . We were due to upgrade to a pool room with a view for our last night but when we got there - there was no view . HOWEVER the staff could not have been more helpful and as there was no space at paradise we got a free upgrade to a pool suit at the tree houses next door ! Will definitely be returning .
