"The views of the river, fabulous. The staff, INCREDIBLY friendly and VERY helpful. It is an older hotel built in the 70's as a Sheraton but Southbank by Marriott has dine a good job keeping it up for the patrons."

"this is a great hotel with great room views, it is older but clean and the price you can't beat, the river view from the balconies was wonderful, breakfast was great. We always use the Jr Suites River Balcony view and i love it we have stayed several times and am never disappointed "

"Location, location, location. What this hotel lacks in on-site amenities or upgrades, it makes up for 5X in the location. Other than getting a rental home, this hotel is the best location you can get with proximity to the beach, as well as proximity to all of the shops and restaurants downtown. The staff is always friendly, they do their best to accommodate any request, and the fresh baked cookies in the lobby are certainly a nice touch. For the price, this is by far the best option when staying in Amelia. We have stayed their 3 years in a row, and are always happy with our stay. "
