"Property was good (salt water can break down any surface) ideal location, walking distance from beach and good food! Staff was not pleasant and at times rude and neither of the two we dealt with smiled or had anything nice to say - customer service is a hard industry - I’m in it - so it means a great deal to me. I know we all have bad days , I do too, but both of them at the front desk were neither helpful nor friendly at all. So its hard to chalk it up to just a bad day for two different employees. I want to recommend but I won’t because of the customer service staff. I will find someplace else my next trip to Galveston!"

Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and committed to providing outstanding service. The food was truly first-class. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making dining at the resort an experience in itself. The fitness center exceeded my expectations. It was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a great workout while traveling. The pool area was simply luxurious. It was the perfect place to relax, with comfortable seating, beautiful surroundings, and an atmosphere that made it feel like a true resort getaway. If you’re planning a trip to Galveston and want a hotel that combines history, luxury, outstanding amenities, and exceptional service, I highly recommend the Grand Galvez Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning on our next visit to Galveston."
