"The beds were the comfortable, but not the pillows. The breakfast was your typical “free” breakfast, nothing special. The room was nice and cool and clean. My family slept well."
Embassy Suites by Hilton at Hot Springs Convention Center
6/10 Okay
"According to the staff at the front desk they do not have a "premium room". We booked through hotels.com and when I called I was told that we had the premium suite.
Second issue was, when we left the hotel on the first day (we checked in late the night before) it appeared that someone had rearranged all of our things. When the front desked was informed they simply apologized.
Next issue was pertaining to the size of the room compared to what we paid. Nothing special just a basic hotel!
Breakfast was great and there is a bar."
"The cottages had recently been renovated and were very nice. It was impressive how well they kept the cute historical ambiance, while updating everything. We did have a delicious breakfast in the Best Court Cafe next door. My only complaint is that it rained the entire time that we were in Hot Springs, which is normal for Arkansas in the spring. But, we got soaked moving into our rooms on the 2nd floor and again when we were loading out to head home. It would have been really nice to have had the staircase and landings covered, so that we did not have to travel home in wet clothes."
"Lots of deferred maintenance on the outside of the building. The windows need to be updated, so much noise through the windows. Our room was clean and the carpet was good. The bathrooms need an update too. At least our room did."
"Everything went great. The gate at the boat launch would not open or close all weekend, but we were able to get access by calling the front desk so they could send maintenance out to open it for us"
