"Great view towards Table Mountain, friendly staff"

"I read some bad reviews before coming out but cannot understand any of them really. The hotel is brilliantly situated, always kept spotless and despite the odd tiny detail pretty modern and well kept with great friendly staff. I stayed for ten nights and the only complaint I have is that there was an atrium outside of my room where they held conferences in the daytime that got pretty noisy but that was only an issue because I was still in bed at 2pm with a hangover rather than on the beach or out enjoying the sights. Honestly can’t fault the place 10/10"

"Facility and stay were absolutely fantastic. Cannot complain. Views from room and patio are incredible. If we had one disappointment it would be there was no gym facilities. (Understand I’m looking for something negative). Food was fabulous at the restaurant. Would absolutely highly recommend. "

"Wonderful location right on beach with awesome views of Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the Atlantic Ocean - get a seaside view room if possible. Rooms were clean but could use some touchup, wall air conditioners (we kept the 2 sliding glass doors open to cool down the room - it can get very windy since you are on the ocean. Outstanding staff behind the front desk, the room cleaning staff, and the restaurant staff - also, purchase the buffet breakfast as part of your total coast - it’s so good! While our queen sized bed sagged in the middle, I’m confident that the staff will replace it. The hotel is 12 km from the City Center and the V&A Waterfront, in Bloubergstrand, an area that is really growing. Plenty of restaurants, free parking, uncrowded beach - though in summer there are lots of paragliders on beach & n the water - lessons are available onsite if needed. If you are ok with driving, go ahead & rent a car at the Airport (roughly a 20 minute drive). The traffic is awful during rush hour, so avoid am & pm rush hours! Recommend take guided tours if possible - many can pick you up at the hotel. Dolphin Beach Hotel also has a truly awesome van driver in Rafi - what a super guy, and makes himself available if you need to get somewhere. Kudos to Thandie, who I communicated with over six months ago when I had a million questions, and had confusion over the hotel payment. She was very patient with me throughout the process. The dollar was at a good exchange rate with Rand."

"Cecilia, the Property Manager is truly a professional, devoted and one of the kindest persons we met in Cape Town Region. The ocean view is spectacular indeed. The property flooring and some of the accessories need to be either repaired or replaced."
