This is an amazing hotel. Everything was top notch I have no complaints at all. The rooms are big an very nice with an amazing very of the city. Marriott was a 5 star hotel which meant our stay was very comfortable, staff were very helpful, polite and professional. Especially Ronin from concierge, Jen, David the duty manager, Grant from car valet, and Azola on front reception desk, thank you all for accommodating us and helping us in every way. This Marriott has THE best breakfast buffet that I've ever had! The staff is really attentive and constantly checks up on you to make sure you've got everything you need. The service of this hotel is 5 star. The mall across the street from it also has everything you would need-even fresh pressed juices at one of the mall's healthy eating options. There's also a really great spa if you feel you need it. Overall I'd return to this hotel and choose to stay only here while visiting Capetown. Truly a great experience!

Didn't enjoy the second class treatment

They operate as if they are trained to serve white people only. My group of friends would never get greeted by the conveyance front desk staff, but a white person coming in right behind us would be greeted instantly by multiple people. And David the evening manager needs a refresher in customer service. He was rude to my friends on several occasions. The breakfast area staff were all wonder and extremely pleasant. They were the highlight of staying at this hotel. The facilities were clean. There was no robe and no slippers which is uncommon for a 5 star hotel.
