「What a lovely place to stay, an amazing find. Dinner in the bar, fish and steak dishes were excellent, tasty, fresh enjoyed with a fine wine and relaxed with cheese and biscuits afterwards. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. A lovely gentlemen serving breakfast cared to explain the local area. Breakfast food also wonderful. 「We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. 「This is a very pleasant hotel, ideally situated for those arriving in Skipton by train. It's virtually the first thing you see when leaving the station. It's a ten minute stroll into the town centre, past a former cotton mill, and there's an alternative route via the attractive canal towpath, easily accessible from the rear of the hotel.
