For the price of the hotel, I was surprised there was no pool and microwave. What was great: food, breakfast and dinner, it’s a clean and quiet place, close to Union train/metro station. "

Pricey, but you have in and out privileges, its all day and overnight, so no need to worry about moving the car or finding a different parking garage... etc etc. That and the security of your car makes the price worth it. Overall an amazing place to stay when going to DC. Was able to walk to basically the entire National Mall from the hotel. And the staff was on point and extremely friendly. "

"Deceptive Photos & Poor Value – A Warning for Professionals I am extremely disappointed with my stay at The Hamilton. The marketing photos are completely deceiving. The room is tiny, congested, and has a very strong, unpleasant odor. It feels like an old, poorly maintained building rather than the premium experience advertised. To make matters worse, breakfast at Via Sophia is a total rip-off. I paid $24 (after a mandatory 18% tip and tax) for a tiny, shallow plate of oatmeal that wouldn't fill a child. Serving such small portions at these prices is insulting to professional travelers. The room smells, the food is overpriced, and the 'amenities' feel like a scam. Save your money and stay elsewhere."
