"We booked with freehand Chicago despite the reviews because the New York location was awesome. We called the day before check in to see if we could get a mini fridge in our room because I needed to store breast milk. We were told they are typically all in use during the weekend and they couldn’t not reserve one for us. We checked in for our premium king room on Saturday. We asked the front desk for a mini fridge and the man at the front desk quickly intervened saying they were all signed out....

"Decent price for the location. Rooms somewhat cramped but still comfortable and clean. Better bang for your buck given the location. If your in town to sight see and don’t spend a lot of time in your room other than sleep this is for you. Want a spa experience go elsewhere."

"This hotel probably provides value. It is in a wonderful location. Our room was serviceable but had some issues: ---The toilet would not stop running unless the lid was off the tank. ---The toilet was not sealed tightly to the floor so it would rock when someone sat on it. ---The clock would lose about an hour a day (!!). The room was clean enough and the staff was competent and friendly. I would stay again in the hotel."
