「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」

「Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10」

「we enjoyed our 2night stay , room 116 is the best stramnge as they only have 41 rooms, as recomended by Tyler ( A future manager ) who was on reception ,plus he was realy helpful on letting us know what was happening in the hotel and surrounding areas eg Bexhill etc. Not a massive hotel ,but due to really hot weather we made full use of the terrace and private garden area. One complaint !! the shower tray is very slippery when wet.A non slip tray would be safer. Otherwise EXCELLANT two night...
