"My daughter kicked off her shoes as soon as she walked into the little room, only to find that immediately wet with dog pee and some floor cleaner that was used over the dog pee. Busted faucet, only one key worked and we met three roaches in the bathroom- never again"

"The Comfort Inn Shady Grove was very conveniently located, with restaurants within walking distance, along with access to the Metro bus and also close by the Metro Red line train. The hotel felt very safe, with overnight security. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast was one of the best I've had in a moderate priced hotel. There was also free onsite parking in a well lite lot. This is definitely a good place to stay in the DC area, at a very reasonable price."
