"I had booked a room with two queen beds for my 19-year-old son and myself. When we arrived at the hotel, I was told there were no more of those rooms available and we were being “upgraded” to a king room. My son had to sleep on a horribly uncomfortable sofa bed as a result. The king bed sheets had black hairs and looked like they hadn’t been changed. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"The lobby was under construction, so getting checked in and to our room wasn’t what we expected. I’m sure when the lobby is finished, it will be nice. We only stayed one night before leaving Kauai, so we didn’t use the amenities. We wanted to use the hot tub, but one was closed and the other was full. "

"Best resort!!! Kids had a blast in the lazy river pool and the 3 hot tubs! BBQs on site. Gorgeous beach with in steps of resort. Restaurant was great. Highly recommend this place. "

"The location and outlook (right in the beach) is great and the price was reasonable. The property and the room felt shabby. Our bathroom door had a hole in it that was just covered up with tape. The staff were a little surly and made me feel awkward asking for anything. "
