「I enjoyed that it was located very close to the Durango/Silverton train station that was our reason for coming to the area. Not a huge deal, but was wishing there was a pool/hot tub. Definitely would stay again.」

「I was adventuring solo for a few days and stayed in the 3-bed hostel room at the Avon. The room was small but the bed was comfy, the amenities were nice (i.e. towels and toiletries in the bathroom), and the staff was welcoming and helpful. It is a funky, cozy, old-timey spot in the mountains, with a covered porch with rocking chairs so you can sit outside and look at the mountains winding down after a day of hiking or having your morning coffee. 「Everything was fine, clean rooms, my keys and paperwork were already organized when I arrived so check-in went quickly, breakfast was simple but good. The hotel was full or nearly full so parking was a bit challenging but probably just enough spaces if you didn't mind parking further from your room.」

「Literally one of my favorite spots I’ve ever stayed at! Such a cute hotel in such a beautiful area of Pagosa Springs. The river running behind the hotel is such a great spot. The room was clean, the coffee was really good and the bed and bathroom were clean and both comfortable. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again. Thank y’all so much for everything, this stay was very special to me and the team made it very easy and memorable. 」

「Upon arrival I was checking in the person working proceeded to act very discussed when I brought to her attention we have service dogs 2 of them I also have all the proper paperwork she was very rude after that Then my husband went to see if the sell ice and rudely told him he would have to go to town but failed to share there was a near by convenience store so we had warm beverages I hope something is done to educate this women on how customer service works for both parties 」
