Cute little hotel within walking distance to a lot. Only complaints are that our room smelled like cigarette smoke, the shower door was broken, and hot water was a problem the first night.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Parking was limited - very limited. The room we stayed in was small and the door to the bathroom wouldn’t stay shut. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was very nice but too dark. The lighting in the room was cold and glaring like you see for nighttime road work but did not provide adequate lighting to see well. On site parking is limited and tight. Overflow parking is available. The bar had a nice menu for dinner, the food was delicious. Close to LSU.

Everyone was super sweet, the food at the cafe was excellent, the room was very comfortable and the location was great! The only thing that was a bit of a pain was that their parking lot is teeny tiny and we got in pretty late at night & it was full, so we had to get up early to move the car over from street parking.

The staff upgraded my suite to the capitol suite without even mentioning it during a date weekend for a concert with my S.O. We were blown away. It was amazing. Wish the water got hot faster though lol.

The parking area is very small. The passenger loading and unloading zone is being used for parking, so it’s not available for its intended purpose—you’ll likely need to park about a block away.

Unfortunately Origin contacted us the day before our arrival and stated they relocated us to another hotel - no reason was given. Origin was booked because it was across the street from the wedding venue we were attending; however, once relocated, we were six blocks away. On the day of the wedding, by the time we found parking and walked, the wedding had already started. On a good note, the hotel they placed us in had free breakfast, parking on the premises was better, and the hotel was generous enough to upgrade our room. It still negated the fact that we were not in walking distance to the wedding - which was the initial reason to booking Origin.
