Opelousas LA Quality Inn

Hostess at the front desk very friendly and accomodating. Room was very clean as was the rest of the first floor we were on. We will stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

We stay at this hotel because of a yearly function and it's soft on the pocketbook. It's centrally near a Walmart, different restaurants, as well as clean. The day/night desk clerks have always been friendly and accomodating.

Smoke smell in room was strong. Upkeep of flooring, bathroom, and quality of furniture was quite poor. Staff was nice. Location was right off highway but not too noisy from traffic. Not close to anything in particular…somewhat outside of town.

I had no idea they were under construction. The room they gave me was unfinished and had a musty odor. None of the amenities were in the room except a broken coffee maker. When I asked for a finished room, they wanted to up charge me.

The property is under construction and the smell and atmosphere was unbearable. Construction is good but they may need to consider closing until they a more appropriate environment for guest. At the least, let customers know the actual condition of the facility.

Had to change rooms because of horrible urine smell. The other room we got had no hot water, tv remote did not work, pillows stunk like mold. They only use the first floor of the motel because of mold issues on the second floor. Staff say don’t use the pool “ it’s nasty” they said Don’t stay at this hotel!!

The room had great A/C, soft sheets, and an excellent dining area for the complimentary breakfast. My room did have more than a few issues though. The sink had no hot water, the toilet was loose on the floor, the bathtub had significant rust near the drain, and the microwave didn’t work properly. The pool also was unusable. The first day it was too cloudy to see the steps, then the next it was seemingly full of chlorine tabs.
