"We enjoyed the old, historic vibe at this hotel. So unlike many hotels without any character. Our room was clean with amble air conditioning. Tiny, tiny bathroom sink, hardly usable! Maybe that's in keeping with the old vibe? Conveniently located, with many restaurants nearby. The only issue was checking out. As we used Expedia, they would not provide us with a receipt."

"Small clean private room with double bed on the 3rd floor. Clean and comfy bed/linens/ pillows. Room was warm even with the window open (fan provided without request). Quiet, except for the ceiling fan was so loud even on low that we had to make do with the portable fan and just a sheet to sleep comfortably. Shared bathroom was a new experience for us as we had never stayed at a hostel before. Only 1 shower (so we skipped and showered at our next stop) womens bathroom stalls were very small, cant soeak for the mens. Didnt use the laundry units nor the beautiful pool in the front yard. The property is quaint in nature and had beautiful flower gardens. Parking was adequate the night that we stayed. Morning breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses as well as quality yogurt and other foods. Sadly for me, no decaf coffee. Orange juice so good as if it were fresh squeezed. Welcoming white wine was an added bonus. About an 8-10 minute walk to town central. Friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. Satisfied with our stay and would consider staying again if in town."
