The best thing about this place is it's location in proximity to Acadia National Park and to downtown Bar Harbor.
Other than that, not much going for it.
The hotel is run down and in need of many repairs.
The room smelled like mildew.
The carpet near the AC/heat unit was wet, and it wasn't running so it was not condensation.
The inside lock on the door was broken. The refrigerator took 2 days to get cold even though I turned it up to the coldest setting.
The ice machine on the second floor was broken. The breakfast in the lobby was all just packaged foods, nothing fresh. Not even any cream cheese for the packaged bagels.
I paid over $200 per night, because it's Acadia...but it really wasn't worth it at all. Overpriced for a run down, broken down, smelly room.
