Compact but super-clean & functional bathroom, with a great powerful shower. High quality towels & linens throughout. Room amenities were of a high standard, plenty of hanging space for clothes, plus drawers for my bits. Spacious desk/workspace, with plenty of power outlets. 「Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast.」

「Always like staying at the Mount rooms Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the rooms could be tidied up a little bit more and maybe some pictures on the wall but always a nice friendly stay. Train station 300m away straight into Cardiff central. Could walk straight onto Barry Island from the hotel in about 20 minutes and you’ve also got the lovely area of the cold knap pebble Beach close by.」

「The room we received was not what was presented on the Expedia website. We booked for three travelers so we were trying to be careful In choosing accommodation. The sleeping alcove in our room (108 ?) does not have a window, so it was warm. There was also a lack of outlets for charging our phones and tablets. Had to unplug the TVs. Food at restaurant was good.」

「Beautiful traditional beer garden. Great steak for dinner. Very comfortable period room. Lovely breakfast. Most importantly very relaxed, helpful and friendly staff- looking forward to a return visit.」

「Staff were great, room was tidy. Only downside was the breakfast. Wife is gluten free and although the breakfast was labelled really well……they cross contaminated the breakfast items at the server. The chef was really helpful and cooked a separate breakfast but the cross contamination should never had happened in the first place. Putting gluten sausages with bacon to keep warm is a no no.」

「Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended」
