"Our stay at Sandy Nangshi was unforgettable. The view is truly once-in-a-lifetime — absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in Room 17, which was amazing. The private plunge pool and jacuzzi made it feel like our own secluded retreat. The entire property has a peaceful, romantic atmosphere — perfect for a honeymoon. The food was top-notch, and our waiter Vee stood out for being professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The mangoes here are the best I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve traveled...

"We stayed here for a few days while attending a wedding nearby and would stay again if in this area. For the price, it was good value, especially compared with prices of other hotels in the area. Basic, clean accommodation. Pool is clean. Owner is lovely and helpful. Beach is across the road.If you want breakfast, just let the owner know the night before. The room had large fridges, so we bought fried rice the night before or waited till 10 when the restaurant opened. "

10/10 Excellent

Samet Nangshe is truly one of the most breathtaking locations in Thailand. The panoramic views overlooking Phang Nga Bay are absolutely spectacular, especially at sunrise. Watching the sun rise over the limestone islands is an unforgettable experience and something everyone visiting this part of Thailand should see at least once. The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty make this destination feel incredibly special. It's an ideal place to escape the busy tourist areas, relax, and appreciate...

Lovely hotel with great service and very friendly staff. The whole resort is beautiful traditional Thai wooden building, rooms are decorated very nicely with great facilities. Restaurant food was very good, although a little expensive, but perhaps to be expected with 5 star hotel. Would have like to see printed menus rather than everything on an iPad. Hotel should also consider a happy hour arrangement late afternoon or early evening. Also some leisure options such as pool table or table tennis...

Purana is a wonderful place to stay for a private holiday. Our transportation was very complex. We were arriving after the ferry to the island stopped running. They arranged private transportation for us. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the boat. Seamless! When we arrived they acted like they were waiting just for us. They sat us down with the best welcome drink and were so incredibly friendly. Our villa was #8 which is up a steep hill, but they always took us by...
