「Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. The reception seemed not familiar to the Expedia pre-payment arrangement. So, you may be better to have your Expedia booking confirmation handy. Hot shower needed more than 5 minutes to come out. 「The staff were good about accommodating my special requests. Housekeeping service was spectacular. Room and hotel were clean. Room was spacious. Staff were friendly. However, it was not a perfect stay and I'm tempted to take a star off. The hotel did not respond to my Expedia message. I also asked for a hand towel, and the response was because i'm in a single standard I only get one towel. This was not a welcoming gesture. An extra towel is such a small thing to make a customer happy....
