"An excellent place to stay in La Spezia! Central in old town, but quick walk to train station & also to bus stop to Porto Venere (Mercato Nord). 2 supermarkets & the town's huge fish & food market, within 1 minute walk. Very good communication pre checkin, actual person available at checkin, who was very helpful (there from midday, until I think 7pm) which also enables luggage storage. Very comfortable bed (not too hard!) & pillows. Building has a lift, yay. Fridge, kettle, coffee maker with decent coffee. Terrific shower with instant hot water. Tastefully decorated room, with chairs whose design enables them to double as tables. Our room was on 2nd floor facing an inner courtyard garden, so it was very quiet."

"Great staff who were very friendly, helpful and communicative before we arrived and during our stay. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was also fine but perhaps could benefit from a shelf in the shower area and near the sink. Excellent breakfast with a mixture of sweet and savoury options. Less than a minute’s walk from the train station. Definitely recommend. "
