"We stayed one night at the Grand Hotel before our flight out. Our room was beautiful with a lovely deck. We were in the newer building behind the big building, with views of the pool. The concierge was very helpful in arranging taxis for us, both for a ride to a night market and also to the airport the next morning. We had a great deal of luggage, and the stewards were incredibly kind to transport it to and from our rooms. A wonderful stay and definitely worth it to be at such a beautiful hotel. "

"I recently stayed at this superb hotel in Taipei, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly and lovely staff who always acknowledged me when passing by. Their warmth and attentiveness truly elevated the entire experience, making me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk from a green line MRT station, making it easy to access all of Taipei's attractions. Despite being in the center of Taipei, it's surprisingly peaceful at night, allowing for a restful stay. The room itself was spacious with an amazing view of Taipei 101, and the design was impeccable. The free mini bar and tea/coffee amenities were a nice touch, adding to the overall comfort of the room. Additionally, the seating area on level 4 provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not just a place to stay; it has a great design and soul, thanks in large part to its wonderful staff. I'll definitely be back for my next stay!"

"Beds were comfortable and large. Bathroom/shower was clean and spacious. However, breakfast is disappointing so highly recommended to try out the local breakfast restaurants in the area. "

"I brought my mother here with her friend for 10 days for her birthday. Some reviews made us nervous with regards to the professionalism of the staff, but I have to say our experience was the complete opposite of many of the bad reviews. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and inviting. They were also very accommodating. We had a 16 hour direct flight from NY and were offered early check-in and we were also given the option for late check out. Bonus points for us. The front desk staff greeted us every single time they saw us and made sure to inquire if there was anything we needed. They were able to guide us with how to set up tours (tour booklet provided) and where the best points of interests would be. My mother's friend is Taiwanese, and she was highly impressed with the hotel staff. We had the deluxe twin room for my mom and myself. Admittedly, it was small. We had 2 large suitcases and 2 small carry-ons and could not have both large suitcases open at the same time. This was actually our only gripe about the room. We usually check for square footage but could not find any on the room we chose. The shower did have a musty/moldy odor, but it's a humid country. That's to be expected. Our reservation came with breakfast. The choices were not extensive, however, everything was fresh and the options they did have were delicious. We are not rewards members but our treatmeant was 5 star!! Already looking to book our next trip at the hotel! 😁"
