"Cannedi Farms was a wonderful oasis right in the middle of the city of Avetrana. The place looks to have been completely remodeled and its gorgeous!
Beautiful high ceilings, modern appliances and a killer roofdeck with wet bar and outdoor shower. They have fruit tress in the back courtyard which assures you have fresh fruit daily and they also make amazing Olive Oil. My family & I went to be close to the beach, it was a 12min drive to the pristine waters of the Adriatic Sea and you can go to a Beach Club with an entry fee or to a free beach, both are no longer than a 15min drive. There are great restaurants in town serving local dishes or you are in proximity to Lecce, Bari or Brindisi. Didn't quite know what to expect because we had never been to the Aventrana or Cannedi farms but we were pleasantly surprised. The owner and staff are very hands on, helped make reservations and gave us an understanding of the area. Would definitely go again."
"Lovely quiet pool. Great access to the beach (28 euros for 2 beds and parasol)
We booked the suite which was very spacious and comfortable although it’s a bit like room Austin Powers would like. Decorated in very dark colours and the huge round bed swallows you.
Nice staff. Free bikes which are great as you are 30 minute walk from the centre and there’s not much around the hotel in the evening."
"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, towels changed daily, with a spacious room that was comfortable and, great AC. The pool area was lovely and spotless, and the sunsets from the property were beautiful. Loved the tree lined driveway.
The location is quite remote, so having a car is essential if you want to explore the area or dine out, as no evening meals are offered on site.
Breakfast was good, but it became a little repetitive after a few days. We would also have appreciated a wider selection of vegetables but overall we had a great time."
"Unusual hotel that would have been amazing back in the day but now needs a lot of TLC
however the rooms were clean but furniture a bit tatty.
I would not consider it a 4 star hotel
It would benefit from tea making facilities in the room and abolishing the single use shower gel which are so not good for the environment.
It would also be nice to have a bench or table outside the room as the bar/ cafe area is not v inviting.
The pool was lovely and we often had it to ourselves but needed a bit of a clean round the edges
We ate in the restaurant once, the pasta was good but my spaghetti was dry and hard. This was disappointing considering it was our most expensive meal.
There are however lovely local family run restaurants in the local towns only a few minutes drive away
Breakfast was simple but nice.
We did not have time to use the spa
We enjoyed our stay despite the above but it is a bit quirky and certainly needs a lot of updating."
"Due to a flight delay we arrived after midnight. The gentleman on the 'night desk' was really helpful in sorting out our room. Breakfast was a\ vast array of different cakes - no savoury options at all."
"The surrounding garden was so beautiful!!! The breakfast was outstanding!!! Mary was awesome!!! The only problem was the internet was very unstable. I would go there again!"
