「It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!」

「We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again.」

「This was a very nice stay in the off-season. They've got a great access point for the beach and a lovely covered seating area as well to stay in the shade while being close to the beach. The breakfast was fine. They have no elevators and the ice machine is a bit of a haul from where we stayed but I would stay there again. 」

「I paid almost double for a higher floor and got the 2nd floor. At 8am sharp there was construction going on right outside my balcony to repair the restaurant porch. A warning in this would have been nice. The appears to be no drainage and the parking lot sidewalk etc get swamped with the slightest of rain. Just another crappy tourist trap. 」

「Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. 「I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides.
