Disappointed

We stayed here because of the indoor pool and continental breakfast which is advertised online but not actually available. Its disappointing and there is no discount applied for lack of services.

This hotel cares nothing for protecting the public from Covid-19. Every staff member was not wearing a mask... well 1 was but could not keep it over the nose. When I got into my room it was dirty from the last guest. After changing rooms I was having trouble with the microwave killed the power to the tv and I had to have staff come to fix it behind heavy furniture. Jeff arrived without a mask on, when I asked him about his mask he said "healthy people don't need masks" then proceeded into my room, fixed the issue and left. After this I felt very assaulted and was afraid to say any more as I was in a strange town at the mercy of this hotel for another night and on a tight schedule. The next morning I saw housekeeping in a room cleaning, not a mask in sight. So if you care about cleanliness and safety from Covid-19 don't come here

The shower was cracked and had mold in the cracks. The rooms are paper thin and the person next door had the TV on all night and it was very loud. Room felt a bit dirty and the furniture needs cleaning, very dirty and stained.

Do not stay at the Super 8 ib Ashland

Hotel was filthy, the pool & breakfast room were closed and the plumbing fixtures in rhe room were broken. There was no tv connection and the staff were not able to assist us with any of the matters

Comfortable and convenient

A friend and I were visiting an old classmate. It was my first visit to Ashland; so after a long train ride and drive, it was a relief to find a comfortable place to rest that was both convenient to downtown and close to the freeway. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It made enjoying the charms of Ashland easy.

The photos made me think it was different than it actually was- maybe this spot is ok for a quick business trip- it is definitely a "lack luster" spot. Complimentary breakfast was "so-so" rooms were just ok.

PET OWNERS BEWARE!!!

Did not get to stay, had to pay for the room anyway, because they do not accept pets of any kind. I understand that I didn’t filter for that on Hotels.com but because I had stayed at Super8’s before and have never had a problem with my dog, I didn’t think it’d be an issue. Being part of Wyndham is what ruins this location in my opinion. Apparently NO Wyndhams accept any pets AT ALL. That’s something beyond a “pet friendly” filter, they should go out of their way to put it on BOLD LETTERS under their amenities. Will never stay at any type of Wyndham again, and neither a Super8 probably

Service was excellent as well as location. Comfort was disappointing and the cleanliness was even worse. You can feel every spring in the mattress when you lay down, the toilet was not level and hair in the shower and on our towels. The sheets were not tucked into the bed when we first got there. I can say that it was cleaner the second night than when we checked in but a let down overall.

Never staying there again

Beds were terrible, air conditioner was broken, breakfast was limited, and the there was a strange person trying to get Into cars. When we reported with staff the refused to report it. Rooms are stuffy and have no air flow. Will never stay there again. Big disappointment compared to other windamear properties

Don't come here. Ever!

The worst place ever. 'Heated' pool was freezing, and it truly smelled like fish. The lady at the front was so grumpy; she complained that my kids needed to use the restroom at check-in; 'I guess people don't use gas stations anymore'. Brown sludge was coming off of the grassy area onto the sidewalk from the hotel outside. One of our beds was broken, it was slanted completely sideways. The room smelled moldy, there was a half-eaten cookie (not ours) smashed into our carpet upon arrival. Everything was dirty, grungy and sticky. Oh and the topper was a fire alarm in the morning. No fire, it just kept going off. Breakfast area was about 100 degrees, the only fruit, apples, were squishy and mushy. The TV was blaring so loud in there with no one around to turn it down. I should've just picked the cheapest place in Ashland. It couldn't have been worse than this place! Just awful. Do not stay here! Wyndham should be embarrassed.

The property is run down. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned. The second room had hair in the shower and a hole in the shower wall. We didn’t see it until bedtime, and we just wanted to go to bed. We left early in the morning - just wanted to get out.

The hotel is in need of some TLC. For the price it was a clean place to stay. The outside is in terrible shape, our room key card had to be reactivated twice in three days, the a/c sounded like a jet plane all night, and the complimentary breakfast had the bare minimum. Since we were in Ashland visiting family spent most of our time at their place so only in hotel for sleep. Staff was friendly. Probably would find another place to stay next time.
