"This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. "

"Very relaxed stay. Short walk from station or book a taxi for a small fee if you have luggage. Ruriko-in temple and Mt Hiei cable car station is very close with lots of hiking and walking trails. Dinner was very nice and staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Koichi and all staff for making our stay an enjoyable one."

"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"全体的に良かった。特にキッチン周りの充実(ホームベーカリーやバリスタ、冷蔵庫のデカさ、食器の清潔さ、などなど)や本格的なバレルサウナ、家具などは満足。 一方、チェックイン16時からなので、1泊2日の場合初日は十分にサウナを満喫できず、15時だと嬉しいところ。チェックアウトが11時なので翌日に楽しめたが、できれば時間を気にせず初日に楽しみたい。"

We were greeted by the owner who immediately sat us down on the patio overlooking the water and brought us peach sodas and our choice of popsicles! He took pictures of us enjoying the view and when we were ready to check into our room we came inside. Our room was INCREDIBLE! Not only the beachfront balcony but the space was decorated with designer furniture that matched the lobby as well. We made fresh coffee each morning then went to...

"家族7人で滞在させて頂きました。駅からも近く、後から来る人、先に帰る人にも良い条件で自由に別荘気分を味わえました。 びわ湖で、マリンスポーツもはじめて挑戦でき、はじめて乗るビスケットに大興奮。良い経験が、できました。 また、BBQ中の急な雷雨にもテントを出して頂いたりと、スタッフの方の素早い対応助かりました。 ベッドが、ソファーベッドと押し入れベッドだったので、寝る準備を始めると埃が出るのが難点。また、シャワー室、トイレにはクーラーがなく、夏場だったのもあって、湿気が…扇風機でもあれば嬉しかったです。 まぁ〜そんなマイナス面を打ち消すくらい、びわ湖の景色は最高です。また、利用したいと思いました。"
