"Lovely property, well positioned for visiting places nearby. Parking on site was spacious and well maintained. Pub next door was great and the food good. Communication with the owners was excellent and responses were very quick and helpful. The room (no. 14) was spotless and smelled wonderful as did the whole property! "Lovely hotel in a fabulous setting. The staff were really nice and could not do enough to make you feel welcome. The food on the main restaurant was excellent but the brasserie was poor (pub food at hotel prices and poorly presented). Overall we would highly recommend the hotel. Unfortunately Expedia cooked up the booking in the wrong name but the hotel staff soon sorted it out."
