"Hotel was very clean. Beds very comfortable and food excellent. Daytime activities good and led by really friendly staff. Evening entertainment was awful. Our room overlooked golf course which was lovely and peaceful. Downside of this hotel is that it is at least a 20 minute walk to beach and any other shops/restaurants/bars, we had to take taxis to evening entertainment at 10 euros a journey"

"We had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo hotel in Tenerife and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, who brought so much energy and fun to each day, and the bar staff, who were always friendly, attentive, and quick with a smile. There was always something going on for those who wanted to get involved, from activities during the day to lively evening entertainment, but it never felt overwhelming if you preferred to relax instead. The balance was just right. The buffet food had a great variety of dishes to choose from each day. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and catered to a range of tastes, so there was always something to look forward to at mealtimes. We were there out of season so can’t comment on the kids club etc as there weren’t many children. Rooms were a great size and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Overall, it was a great holiday experience with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great food, and a team of staff who clearly care about making your stay special. Definitely recommended. "

"Great hotel in a very good location. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are very spacious and spotless. We had absolutely everything we needed and very much liked the eco friendliness with a fresh filtered water tap in the apartment too. We never used the pool area but walked through a few times and everything looked good. Beds and bedding very good quality and we had a great sleep. "

"Apartment fine. One bed unstable so good job it was only me. Safe costs extra, spa costs extra for the jacuzzi and sauna they have and the on site massage therapist never replied to my enquiries in WhatsApp so i took my custom elsewhere. Overall ok, only one cockroach spotted. Busses dont go all the way up so you will have to walk or taxi back in the evenings as the last shuttle bus back is at around 6"

"An amazing hotel run by friendly staff in a fantastic location. The hotel is decorated with beautiful tropical plants, secluded from the coastal strip but close enough for lovely views from the bar. The food is a mix, great breakfast and lunch options but felt that dinner was poor, both in the booked restaurants and buffet. A small shame in an otherwise splendid hotel overall."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The Spa and gym facilities are very good, with excellent therapists. The room was good and there are a variety of pools and outdoor areas to relax. A lovely rooftop terrace. We expected more activities such as tennis etc and had a disappointing experience at the hotels Montauk Restaurant, the worst meal we’ve ever had! Limited variety and the toughest Rib-eye steak! However, the Sessions restaurant provided a very good daily buffet breakfast. Good if you like rock music."
