「We were in town for a wedding and spent one night at the Hamilton house inn. Our room was, clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. Shawn cooked us French toast, sausage, and grits for breakfast. It was delicious. If we ever return to Monroe, we will stay again. 5 stars!」

「I’ve stayed at this property many times. It’s extremely aesthetically appealing and the staff are super friendly but that’s as far as it goes. It’s nothing really special about or comes with the hotel. Basic amenities, no free breakfast, or no pool. And for the price you pay, you'd think….but nope, nothing. Actually, this is probably the nicest hotel in this dead town. EXTREMELY expensive for the area though. Anyway, it’s 2 bars on the property, 1 restaurant (entirely gluten free apparently),...

「Comfort Inn at nearly $600 for three nights seemed to be the best deal looking at the pictures online. The hotel wasn't a dump, but it was less than average. The place needs to be updated. The bottom of our door was a big space where you can tell when people were walking by and could easily hear our conversation. The bathroom was small a portion of the lower wall was rotted. Stayed three nights and not once did we receive room service. The iron did not work and neither did the charging stations...

「It was a fairly clean place to spend one night. There was a Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot I didn’t eat there but they were rather busy so I guess people enjoyed their food. My bed was comfortable I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer than one night as it did not feel safe there. But it served its purpose on my way back to Texas.」

「Great location! Easy access to the interstate and next door to Surge Entertainment Complex. Friendly staff, snacks for purchase in the lobby, and delicious free morning coffee with half & half and creamers. Free bottled water at check-in. Breakfast buffet was $15 (it was decent). The bartender was amazing and he made the perfect Patron margarita. The rooms are desperately in need of an upgrade. It was very overpriced for a room with a damp moldy loud window unit and dirty carpet. Bed was...

「The property was well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was positive. My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again.」

「After hours staff was extremely helpful. I was able to check in very late with no problems. Room wasn’t super clean, there were old stains in the bathroom and the AC was leaking.」
