"Our room was spotless! Bed is firm, food was appealing however the hamburger caused gastro problems, majorly. Talked to 2other people with similar issues. We ate there the whole time and the last night was beautiful. The staff is above and beyond. The location is away from the street noise and everything else. Gorgeous views, monkeys and fruit bats too"

"The property and staff were all amazing. The breakfast and dinner was good. Getting a ride via pick me can take some time as not all drivers want to come up the hill. Make sure you a lot enough time for travel. We were going to be late for our train because a PickMe driver canceled. But the hotel made some calls and arranged for a quick Tuk Tuk ride and we made it right in time. "

"Fantastic service from the staff. Great room with million dollar views. Most comfortable bed I have slept in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooftop with great infinity pool overlooking Kandy lake. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped to handle this number of guests. Looking forward to staying here again. A true gem run by the nicest staff ever! "
