「I’m not even sure how to explain the smell in my room. It was something like urine and stale smoke. I stayed in the room for about 15min and then just left, checked into the holiday inn express. I get it $45, but wow!」

There was no rubber mat in the shower or no Safety bars to hold on to i would Strongly suggest you install them My mother is 86 and was scared to take a shower I asked for a mat They had none.
