"Sitting up high in the mountain this 5 star hotel is very modern, very up to date for today’s standards and has a very beautiful view of Santorini. Apanemo Hotel has a very friendly & generous staff, it’s super clean & also provides a very good breakfast with room service. I would like to state that there’s at least 2 stores nearby, a couple of restaurants & a beach within walking distance if not a very short drive from the hotel. Overall I’m very pleased in my selection of choosing Apanemo Hotel in Akrotiri as my hotel of choice and it’s definitely a hotel I highly recommend & would definitely go back to if I where to go back to Greece. "The breakfast was filling enough to give you a good start to the day. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of clothing storage and the bathroom was simple and clean. We had a patio with chairs, TV, hairdryer. It would have been nice to have a kettle. Eileen was very welcoming and polite. We were late arriving - past 1am in the morning but we were still welcomed with enthusiasm. We would book this hotel again. The buses are only EUR2 to Fira and run every half hour. Akrotiri is a very quiet town with one main road, it's a real escape from the busier towns but has its own charm."
