It was a pleasant and comforting for my family to stay in Aravinitis Cave Village. Kate (owner) welcome us from the time we arrive and always willing to help if we need it. She was very nice to upgrade us in a short notice and the breakfast was awesome. I will recommend this property if your family vacationing in Santorini.

Arvanitis Cave Village

We had a nice stay at Arvanitis Cave Village. The room was good for us, and the communications with the host was perfect. She answered all my questions quickly and was very helpful. We loved the breakfast-basket delivered to us every morning. We would recommend if you stay in Akrotiri.

The host is great. Room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is amazing. Host is your best local friend who can provide all kind of information and also call a taxi for you anytime anywhere lol We came in a non peak season. Most of the restaurants are closed around the hotel. 7 mins walk to the bus stop to Fira which only costs $2 euro per person. Make sure you downloaded WhatsApp. Most of the hotel and tour using that to communicate

The breakfast was fantastic, the host and the staff were friendly and available. The little town that it is in is welcoming, and feels very traditionally Greek. We especially enjoyed finding hidden places like a little café up in the Venetian ruins

We expected an impersonal room for one night and found ourselves as heartily welcomed guests. A don't miss is the breakfast especially the self made fig-apticot Marmelade. Absolutely recommendable for people who want to avoid touristy Santorini and enjoy the local hospitality.

This was the most beautiful accommodation we had in our 2 week tour of Greece. It was lovely, simple, clean, elegant inside- what an experience to stay in a traditional cave house! Our host was responsive & gave excellent & personal communication. Every morning a basket arrived that she put together herself w/ breakfast & snacks. We felt so so pampered. It was cool, comfortable & relaxing after a hot day exploring. There was a little patio set w/ a great view in the morning to enjoy our breakfast. Truly an excellent experience.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Akrotiri. L'emplacement est idéal pour échapper à la foule et au bruit d'autres villes plus touristiques comme Oia et Fira. Ici, place au calme. La vue sur la caldeira est par ailleurs sublime, c'est un régal pour les yeux. La chambre est superbe, elle est très confortable et on y dort bien. Un petit bémol, la chambre d'à côté bénéficie d'un jacuzi, et les occupants peu regardants n'hésitent pas à l'utiliser tard le soir au détriment du voisinage. Mais nous n'avons été "géné" qu'un soir. Katerina est super accueillante et aux petits soins avec ses locataires, elle s'est occupé du taxi pour aller du port à l'aéroport (pour notre voiture de location), et nous a bien aidé pour organiser notre excursion à Nea Kameni. Elle est très disponible et répond rapidement aux messages qu'on lui laisse. Un vrai bonheur. Sans aucun doute, quand nous reviendrons à Santorin, nous savons où nous dormirons !
