「The beds had dog hair or some type of curly hair on both of them sheets smelled like feet but the front office did accommodate me other than that not a bad spot to hang out if passing by btw use your own Netflix account to log in and make sure to log out 」

「Frequently stay in the Fairplay area for work and the Hand hotel has been by far the most enjoyable place to stay. The other option (Riverside Inn) has always been extremely noisy and the staff don't seem to care much about customer concerns. The Hand hotel staff were excellent and it was convenient having the cafe down-stairs... just be aware it isn't open every morning, but there are other options close by. It is a historic building so keep that in mind when booking.」

「It has nice view to the forest and you would be able to see the sunrise in the morning which is beautiful. The outdoor hot tub is supposed to be closed at 10pm, but people are still using it and making noises at night. We told the front desk about it, but they said the whole deck area is a common area, they couldn't do anything about it. This's weird that they have a rule to close the pool at 10pm but no one is forcing it.」

「Parking with a truck and snowmobile trailer was horrible. I called the hotel in advance before booking and asked about parking. I was told they have bus and truck.trailer parking on site. This was NOT true! The lot is small and there were 10 abandoned cars also taking up spots making matters worse. If the person would have tols the truth I would never have stayed here! The hotel itself is worn out and well used. The front staff were all rude and one guy was only interested in watching his...

「I was supposed to stay with them back in December of 2025. Unfortunately, my sister passed away the very day I was supposed to fly out and check in. I called to see if they could offer a refund given the circumstances, and I even offered to provide documentation as proof. Sadly, corporate said they would make no exceptions. 「Were just spending a night as we arrived a day early before ski plans in Breckenridge. Arrive right when they we having happy hour with a free glass of wine and a nice assortment of snacks (meat, cheese, nuts, homemade pickles, etc.). room was clean and just what we needed, then had a delicious breakfast in the morning. Perfect location on Main St. to hit shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.」
