「Not a lot of hotel options in the area. The hotel is dated and no front desk service after 6pm so don’t lose your key! The Hotel is in a great location in a wonderful town on a lake. The price good too. If your going to Amersee and Herrshing this is a perfect location with a good enough room. It’s not bad in anyway just not a big city Hotel with amenities. A country hotel located in the best part of the country town on the lake. We would stay there again for sure!」

「Breakfast was fresh each morning, and refreshed multiple times during the service each day. Location is convenient for arrival by car, and there is lots of parking available. Our room (S4) was very spacious and comfortable, with direct garden access. Staff was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Romantik Hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. The on-site restaurant was phenomenal and there were also other places very close by. From the hotel, we were able to hike around the area, including a trek up to the Andechs brewery, through a beautiful, wooden area and over to the lake. We loved the hotel and the town. 」

「Super gelegener, kleiner, super gelegener Gasthof mit einem netten, freundlichen Chef, der einem zum Frühstück schon Wünsche erfüllt (Ei nach Wunsch gekocht, gerührt oder als Spiegelei!). Sehr großzügiges Badezimmer, toll und frisch renoviert. Zimmer mit Balkon (davon gibt es „nur“ drei!). Tolle Betten, nicht zu weich – nicht zu hart, mit Ausnahme der Kissen, aber das ist mir persönlich zu wenig gefüllt. 」

「We spent a weekend at the Dom Hotel for sightseeing, shopping and to visit the Augsburger Xmas market, only a 10 minute walk away. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, the room and bathroom room were both functional, spacious and very clean. There was an excellent German breakfast selection. We definitely would stay here again.」
