Loved staying at the IKEA Hotel before visiting the IKEA Museum. The hotel is actually fairly bare bones with rooms being small to encourage you to mingle with other guests and explore. Everything is clean and pristine and I loved how many places there were to sit. Unfortunately a large reason I was excited to stay at the hotel was to do my laundry as we were in the middle of our trip. One of their washers is broken. Their dryer default setting takes like 3 hours. There’s only 2 washer/dryer machines so it takes quite a while and put a damper on our experience since we kept having to come back to the laundry room.

Very cute and very niche hotel especially if you’re a fan of IKEA. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service by staff was amazing as well.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay an incredibly special one, I don't even have the words to describe how amazing our stay was. Every person I spoke to was a genuine pleasure. The area is peaceful and clean and I can't recommend the sauna enough, an absolute hidden gem. The food at the hotel restaurant was some of the best I've ever eaten and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. It was an honour to visit. I love you, IKEA.

Plus points: This hotel is nearest to the ikea museum so it made it very easy for planning a visit and resting here overnight. The hotel felt very simple in terms of decor. Comes with free EV charging so that was a plus. Seems like its more suited for a business hotel, alot of corporate clients in groups coming in and out and less so for leisure visitors. Downside: I had a few big bugs in the room at night which gave me a scare. The hotel room deco was a bit dates, and could have been more interesting, which pales in comparison to the extent of Interior Design given their showroom expertise.

Nice hotel with lots of different areas to just hang out. Staff very friendly and serviceminded. Rooms in the newer part of the hotel are much more inviting than in the older part.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, just a ventilation system that does not work. The main items on the dinner menu were not available due to "change over". They do not take cash Swedish Kroner or Euro by cash or card!! The Museum is "a different company" so they can't give a consolidated Bill ie very old fashioned and internal focused and not looking after the Customer

Ideal for business meetings etc, but as a tourist the amenities are lacking, more on par with being a hostel then a hotel. Housekeeping is only once every 7 days unless you specifically request, no toiletries etc in the room. Staff were lovely though!

Like living in an ikea showroom! Super clean, and nice touches like free laundry machines, lots of lounge space to chill out, free wifi, and a great includes breakfast. Also very close to the train station!

The hotel was Ikea through and through. It was simple, yet innovative. The rooms were comfy and had everything you needed. Every floor has a ‘living room’ where you can play board games, warm your own food or make a cup of tea or coffee. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant had Ikea style food but elevated to a higher level. The complementary breakfast was fantastic too

We expected much more from the ikea hotel given it carries the ikea brand, but the rooms and the hotel common areas were very minimal (only the bare essentials were provided with little thought or creativity). Honestly a disappointment, the ikea showrooms are much more interesting (and stylish) than the hotel itself. Also the room has no kitchen, fridge or even table/chairs to sit, only 4 single bunk beds. Much improvement needed from ikea management, given all the product lines they have (and designs/funding).
