The entire hotel was unsafe. I got out my car to try to check in. They had people in front of me to check in that were under the influence they didnt even know where they were. The young lady was dressed and was behaving like a prostitute. Another lady came in and moved me over--i was in her way of a unsanitary old vending machine. At that point i left quietly and fast. I was not going to stay there. I ended up paying for another room at another hotel. I probably would have paid anything not to stay there. There were people hanging over the 2nd floor balcony calling out to me. As i left i saw hanging everywhere signs that there qe r e rooms available by the week and by the month. This motel needs to be visited by law enforcement

My flight was canceled and I was in a strange city. I went on Expedia picked a hotel that looked according to the room looked OK and the price was very reasonable. My Lyft driver cautioned me that the area was really not safe. Lots of street walkers, drug addicts, etc.. We arrived to the location, and just as the Lyft driver had suggested there were what appeared to be hookers and drug addicts loitering the property very unclean and unsafe looking establishment. The door to the office is locked, and you can only speak with the receptionist through a window and it was about 18° outside snowing raining and freezing. Expedia should be ashamed of themselves to not be more discriminatory of the properties that they represent. I did not stay at this hotel. I did not feel safe. I immediately had my driver take me to another respectable hotel. Expedia is refusing to refund my money… I shouldn’t be surprised, considering the hotel in question in Alexandria Louisiana was on their listing. Not a very integral company at all I will never utilize their services again. A.Compton

Guy that worked the desk was extremely rude, rolling his eyes at just about everything that I said and spoke disrespectfully. Also, the room that we were in had roaches.

Upon arriving at location I was questioned about having guests i was told I could not have any then I was told if a anthe person other thanmyself was seeing coming into my room that I would be put out don't think it's legal and unfortunately this hotel is one of the only affordable ones in town that's decent because if there was another one I would not be staying at this one they want to charge you for your animals even if you're a pet friendly hotel which is ridiculous and Expedia clearly states that the price you are shown is the price you pay but yeah when you get to the location only to be charged more money for a emotional support animal and to be told what I can't do in your own room that you pay for it as long as you're not breaking any laws why you can't have a visitor it's ridiculous how these people can charge you outrageous prices then to turn around and try to run you like they're your daddy if I pay for a room I should be able to have who I want in there as long as it does not break any city ordinances or city laws and is within a reasonable timeline the hotels in Alexandria are ridiculous I frequently sleep in my car to avoid paying these people for a room because it's ridiculous the prices they charge you for a Chihuahua and the budget down the street is not any better either these people need to be pet friendly hotels and not charge or not be a pet friendly hotel. That's all I have to say do not recommend for any families or traveling for witridiculousrefund

Should have reconsidered my Stay

This is a recently remodeled hotel. I must say my room was clean & tidy. Had it not been for the pest infestation, I would have given it a higher rating. Had to sleep with the lights on to keep the roaches out of my bed & clothing. Management did swiftly take care of this issue. However, I don't think I'll be coming back again.
