This place was filthy! The first room they gave me was filthy. The second room was filthy and the third room was filthy. As a matter of fact I cut my stay short just because it was not only dirty, filthy and clean it was unsafe.
Undescrible and unrecognisable trash and filth matted in an unvaccumed and unclean carpet at the bedside
Bed sheets worn and stained
Built up dirt in and around air vent
Air conditioner panel propped up against the walk, noting the brackets were bent and broken, producing mold and condensation.

The refrigerator did not work and had to have maintenance fix it. The hair dryer did not work and never got fixed or replaced. The quality of breakfast has went down dramatically since the last time we stayed there 7 months ago. I tried MULTIPLE times to call the hotel and always got directed to a call center who told me to send an email. This was on 4/15/26 and I haven’t received a response back as of 4/21/26. This was the only place I would stay when I came to the area, but never again.

Breakfast was good. Room was very clean. The name change is somewhat offensive to those of color. I would ask the new owners/chain to reconsider the new name and change it to be inclusive-friendly to all people.

The room had roaches and a light fixture was out. The quality of breakfast was not as good as in the past stays. Informed staff of the room and was given a different room on the third floor that was better. The carpet in both rooms were pretty worn out.

We showed up around midnight to check into our room. They said that our room is not available, and we'd have to go somewhere else even though we already paid. The night manager said that we would have to call Expedia to get a refund that he could not help us. So, no room, no help, no refund. Totally rude and non helpfull.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel and would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere. First off, the pool was completely unacceptable. The water was brown and visibly filthy—definitely not something anyone should be swimming in. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, which immediately made me question the overall hygiene of the place. The front desk staff were no better. They were rude, dismissive, and acted like helping guests was an inconvenience. Any time I asked a question, I was met with attitude instead of assistance. The room itself was outdated and worn down. The furniture looked like it hadn’t been replaced in decades—old, scratched, and uncomfortable. It gave the whole place a neglected, run-down feel. But the worst part of my stay was completely unbelievable. While I was trying to get coffee in the morning, two hotel employees got into a physical fight right in front of guests. It was chaotic and honestly a bit scary. I ended up having to call 911 because the situation was out of control. To make matters worse, one of the employees involved actually cursed at me while I was trying to help. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Poor cleanliness, terrible customer service, and completely unprofessional behavior from staff. I will never stay here again.

The room was not clean. Sheets had multiple stains, walls had fresh mud/dirt/blood type liquid on them, and the floors looked like they haven’t been vacuumed. Bathrooms needed to be re-caulked. The front staff wasn’t very welcoming at check in. Breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast though. No complaints on breakfast food.

FIRE ALARMS CONSTANTLY GOING OFF!!! Checked in about 11:15 pm, was in elevator going up to room and the fire alarms started going off. Other guests stated they had been there since 3:00 pm that day, and the alarms had been going off repeatedly since their arrival, and the fire department had been there 3 times already. Myself and 6 other guests decided to book rooms nearby due to the fire alarm situation. We all kindly requested refunds, which all were denied by the owner !! Very unethical given the situation!!

The hotel itself is good, rooms clean and comfortable however the fire alarm went off 3 times and they couldnt explain why and if it was going to happen again. I had a 9 hr trip in the morning and i wasnt sure if i was gonna get any sleep, staff couldnt tell me if i could get a refund. Still waiting on a call.

First, they gave us a room that was already occupied. Then we got a room that though it was clean, needed a lot of work. Torn curtains, torn wallpaper, a big black circle on the ceiling. When we went to breakfast nearly averything was gone.

Everything that I saw was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The front-desk staff were terrific, allowing me to check in earlier than the standard check-in time. The facility looked a bit tired, especially the carpets and furniture. The breakfast buffet was lacking some items that I would expect even with the label "continental" - there was no jam or jelly for toast; the only fruit was a bowl of small apples; and on my second morning there was no yogurt.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The décor was a little outdated, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
