「The property is well designed and comfortable. The pool was lovely but the weather made it impossible to enjoy. The road to the hotel is very bumpy and there were some minor snafus which the management was quick to try and fix although apparently the outdoor lights down the stairs to the rooms has a short and only worked half the time. 「Had difficulty finding The View, it isn't marked and doesn't have an address on it. After an hour we did find it, only to find out check in was moved to 5 miles away. Restaurant on site was closed, they did offer use of the other facility's restaurant 5 miles away. which was convenient, and didn't allow us to get any drink or food while at the pool. Villa was wonderful, clean, well maintained, and really fantastic views. You could walk from villa in to town and to beach in 10 mins.」

「We had an incredible time at Monte da Vilharinha. Driving into the property is like something out of a movie. The rural landscape boasts quintessential while buildings, herds of cows with bells, fields of flowers and streams. When we arrived we were greeted by Jafer and the property dog cookie. Jafer was the most incredible host guiding us around the property, letting us know where to take the (free) bikes and available to answer any questions via WhatsApp at any time.
