Our experience was amazing from the moment we checked in and received a warm welcome to the moment we checked out. We loved everything about this hotel: the prime location directly opposite the marina and minutes away from the town center; the clean, spacious and well appointed room with a balcony overlooking the marina; the rooftop pool and lounge; friendly and helpful staff; and the delicious breakfast that offered a vast selection of hot (cooked to order) and cold items. We wished we had stayed longer and cannot wait to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at Lagos Avenida Hotel! The hotel was beautiful, stylish, and felt like such a special treat during my solo trip to Portugal. My room was lovely, with a private terrace where I could relax and enjoy the views over the rooftops. The pool was absolutely amazing and such a highlight of my stay, the perfect place to unwind and soak up the Algarve atmosphere. The location was fantastic, right by the marina and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the old town. I’m so glad I chose this hotel for my time in Lagos. It made my stay feel extra special, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting! 🇵🇹❤️

We paid more for a waterfront room. We were in room 102. It looked at road and bus stop. As I was changing clothes, people in car waving to me. We needed to keep our drapes closed so that everyone on the street in front of our room couldn’t see us. The hotel could not move us.

Exceeded our expectations. Prime location. Quiet, comfortable rooms with balconies. Very professional staff. First-rate breakfast. Charming rooftop pool, bar and lounging area. No fitness area but Em Forma gym (7 Euros for day pass) is a close, excellent option. Highly recommend this high value stay.

Central to everything and near the bus terminal dropoff that made our travel and stay so much simpler. The marina across the street for boat outings and the town center walkable for World Cup games while Portugal was still in it! Memorable stay and fabulous place!1!

Check-in was fast and easy. Arrived around 12:30 pm and they stored our luggage until room was ready by 2:00 pm. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower area was a good size, and shower door is see-through (clear glass). Nespresso coffee maker in the room, and was very quiet. Minimal decor but stays in line with beach vibe. Highly recommend.
