「Perfect place for family three nights away with teenagers.We spent most of the days at the pool by the Casa Azul, lovely breeze, never busy, and handy snack bar for drinks and food right there. Its a little hilly so prob not the best for anyone with mobility issues. Ate breakfast both mornings at the Alfarroba restaurant. (Tip: ordering off the a la carte menu is better value than the buffet but that nay have been because we got the buffet one day as it seemed to be finishing up). Mini market on...

「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」

「We would highly recommend this hotel. We arrived earlier than check in time; they allowed us to use their amenities and pool while they readied a room. They upgraded our room to a better view. The pool was beautiful, clean, and refreshing. Though it was full, we could always find a place to sit. Staff were super friendly throughout the stay. Breakfast was typical of most hotels offering fresh fruit, croissants, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and granola. The surrounding area was full of places to eat...
