"We had a great visit here. Marianne (our host) was awesome and upgraded our cabin when our reserved cabin wasn’t ready. She explained everything and made sure our visit was perfect. The cabin was clean, modern and had some really nice amenities. It’s the perfect place if you want the comfort of a hotel but want some time with nature."

"I stayed at this residence for three days during a road trip with my family. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, which made check-in easy. Unfortunately, the property did not fully match the expectations set by the photos. The deck was in poor condition, with both the stairs and platform noticeably slanted and unstable. I was genuinely concerned for my family’s safety, especially with young children. While the cabin initially appeared tidy, a closer look revealed that the bathroom had likely been overlooked during cleaning. I also found a large number of dirty dishes hidden in the oven while preparing dinner. I sent photos of this to the host but never received a response. Another important detail is that the home does not have central air conditioning. There is a mini-split unit in the living room, and small oscillating fans are provided in the bedrooms. Unfortunately, we stayed during a heat wave, and the bedrooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable. My entire family ended up sleeping in the living room just to stay cool. Overall, I felt misled by the photos on Hotels.com. While the location had potential, the condition of the property and lack of responsiveness left me disappointed. I would not choose to stay here again."
