  • This is one of my favorite hiking trails! It consists of 3 big waterfalls as you ascend to the top. Be cautious though you need real hiking boots to hike the trail. It’s extremely slippery because of the waterfalls and we went on a day where it rained so it was even worse. Most people make their way up the side of the waterfalls, which involves a lot of climbing on rocks and using your hands. It gets very crowded so we went up the "flatter" trail most people use to go down, which made for a really good work out, and started from the top waterfall and made our way down. This is not a kid friendly place. The trail is dangerous and difficult. There were warning signs everywhere saying to wear the correct shoes and that people have died here, but there were so many people there with their small children who were having lots of trouble climbing and so many people with flip flops. Also no one here had any hiking etiquette about letting others pass. Regardless, this is one of my favorite trails.

The Bella Victoria was quite possibly the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Over three nights, I enjoyed a delicious variety of breakfast options (which the host was kind enough to adapt to my partner’s celiac disease), easy access to Jim Thorpe’s shopping & dining, and a couple of insanely welcoming & accommodating hosts who quite literally helped me dig my car out of a snowstorm. If you’re looking to stay in Jim Thorpe, there is literally no better option. 10/10 would recommend, would stay again!

Super cozy and quaint Bed and Breakfast. Alex & Naomi, the hosts, have created a very romantic and cute atmosphere. They're super welcoming and their place embodies the Jim Thorpe town's aesthetics and hospitality. Super efficient self check-in system, with cozy and comfortable rooms and a very delicious breakfast! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Highly recommend Bella Vitoria! Naomi (owner) reached out to prior to arrival to welcome us and ask us if we had questions on our stay or area. We were greeted warmly when I fumbled with self check in and given a quick tour of the premises. Entire place was decorated in lovely Victorian period furniture with fall themed decor. Our stay in the Romantic room could not have been nicer. Breakfast was a delight with fresh preparation of vegetable omelette turkey sausage and home fries preceded by a fresh fruit breakfast parfait. This B&B was absolutely spotless. If you want to have a delightful couples getaway I can’t say enough good things about it.

A little odd to let ourselves in & not see any staff until breakfast, but we did have a phone number we could have called if we had questions. Overall, a great experience- a comfortable & quiet place to stay with plenty to explore in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for our weekend visit to Jim Thorpe. Bella Victoria was a great place to stay. The house is very well kept, in Victorian decor. The grounds are well groomed. Very nice room. Perfect for a couple. The breakfast each day was fabulous. Free parking on the street next to the property, in a nice neighborhood. It's about a mile from the historic district, toward the Jim Thorpe Memorial. Each day, we drove down and parked on a side street right before the bridge over to the main town. Then we just walked over the bridge and down the street to the train station/historic district. That saved us the $25 per day parking fee for the parking lots in the main town. I highly recommend this place for a great stay in Jim Thorpe.

This is such a charming place. It felt like stepping into a perfect time capsule where you want to just read a book and have tea. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean. And the couple who run it were so kind and thoughtful (not to mention the breakfast being fancy restaurant-quality) I just wanted to hang out with them. Can't recommend this place more highly. I loved it and will be returning.
