We have nothing to complain about at all during our stay. We should’ve researched further as we didn’t realize there was extra charges for just about everything. Parking was an extra fee $25/night to self park or $40/night for valet. There wasn’t even a coffee pot in the room so just to get a cup of coffee in the morning was a long walk to the lobby and cost money at one of the cafes. And then we didn’t realize the outdoor water park wasn’t included in our hotel stay. We went up at 5pm to go to one of the restaurants and didn’t realize that you couldn’t even get in to eat somewhere without a water park ticket that was $40 a person. And then even a bottle of water was $4.50. It was just a little disappointing that we paid so much to stay there and nothing but the indoor water park was included. Just do more research than we did before you go and get nickel and dimed like we did.

The good: responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful staff. The free shuttle service is great, and there are so many activities that kept our 7yo engaged and happy. Aquatopia is great fun, the indoor ropes course is excellent, mountain coaster was a hit. Rooms were surprisingly quiet and beds comfortable. The not great: slippery algae on floor and steps in Aquatopia; bathtub had no stopper and was unusable; cabanas are so overpriced that most of them stood empty even in July. Also, no coffeemaker in your room. The bad: booking activities on the app or website was deeply frustrating. The interface is NOT intuitive, and it froze up on me repeatedly. I gave up more than once and went down to the Events office (not easy to find) and had to book in person. I overheard other parents complaining about the same issue. Skip the mini golf course. It’s tiny and looks like they ordered a backyard set from Temu. Also, the check in counter is clearly too small, understaffed, and overwhelmed. Expect LONG queues to check in. Would we return? Probably. It’s a nice resort. But please fix the app/website for online activity booking. Please.

Service is too bad. After checking in called the number provided in hotel twice to clean the bathroom. Bathroom messed up with milk smell, even after couple of calls no actions. Balcony floors were sticky since it requires proper cleaning. Next day placed do not disturb message in my room since dont want to waste my energy and time , anyhow no value for the complaint. Terrible!!!

Unfortunately, not all the slides were available at the water park — some of them were closed. We were also disappointed by the very small parking lot; it was especially difficult to find a parking spot on the weekend.

Unfortunately, I have to compare Camelback and Kalahari. With that comparison I would give camelback an “okay”. There aren’t much restaurant options and they require you to pay for parking. I was not happy about that. They charge $40-$50 for the outdoor park although you just paid so much to stay on the resort. Not saying you shouldn’t pay but why so much? A plus is that you are 5min from an outlet mall if you’re into that type of thing. Kids enjoyed their stay there that’s all that matters!

Our recent stay at Camelback Resort was disappointing on several fronts. Firstly, the overall value was lacking, especially considering the high prices for food, the arcade, and the rooms. The food options were overpriced and did not meet expectations in terms of quality. The arcade also felt overpriced, making it difficult to justify spending extra money there. Our room was not cleaned as scheduled; housekeeping was supposed to come at 11 a.m., but our room was left uncleaned upon our return in the evening. Additionally, we noticed other guests were leaving their dirty towels outside their doors, which suggests that the cleaning service was not consistently attending to the rooms. This lack of cleanliness was quite frustrating. The indoor waterpark had only a few rides open during our visit. The larger, more popular attractions were closed off for hours, which was disappointing, especially for families looking for a full waterpark experience. Overall, these concerns should be taken into consideration.
