「I never thought about what prison washcloths must be like until I arrived at this 60-70 year old motel. Black grime on edges/corners of floor, especially in the bathroom; random hairballs too. Unmatching furniture gives appearance of a Goodwill store. Mattresses are about 5 in. thick, pillows about 4 in. thick, sheets are cheap and loose, and I found myself wondering what was on the bedspread because I assume it's cleaned about as often as the floor.
