We were surprised when we first arrived—there was no one at the front desk. After a while, someone finally showed up, but he looked annoyed, like we were bothering him. If I’m paying to stay at your hotel, I don’t need attitude. Handle your stress—it’s not the guest’s problem.
Unfortunately, the bad service didn’t stop there. At the restaurant downstairs, the bartender (a middle-aged white man) was flat-out rude. He ignored every woman at the bar, which made it pretty clear he had a serious problem with women. Completely unprofessional.
I also injured my ankle trying to get to the ice machine—half the hotel felt like a safety hazard, with blocked-off areas that were still in use. The path to the broken ice machine was especially dangerous.
Our balcony had no space to sit, so we ended up having to sit awkwardly in front of someone else’s window. Not ideal.
That said, we still had a great time overall despite the hotel. One big positive: the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable—absolutely amazing sleep.
